By air: Reach Fujairah directly at the Fujairah International Airport (IATA: FJR) on IndiGo’s flights to Fujairah. The airport is located just 1.9 kilometres from the city centre. If you are flying in from outside the region, it might be convenient to arrive at other larger airports in the UAE, which have more direct international flights.
Arrive at Dubai International Airport (IATA: DXB) or the Sharjah International Airport (IATA: SHJ), at a distance of 109 kilometres and 101 kilometres respectively. Otherwise, arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport (IATA: AUH) and fly off to Fujairah on a domestic flight.
By road: Fujairah is conveniently connected with other major cities in the UAE by road. Dubai is only a 2-hour drive away, and so is Sharjah. Private cabs are available for hire from major cities in the region.
Other than taxis, buses are also good, pocket-friendly alternatives. Regular buses run from Dubai to Union Square Station. Buses are also available from Sharjah, originating at Jubail Station, and other cities in the region. The journey takes nearly 2 hours to complete.
By metro: When travelling from Dubai, a metro might be a convenient public transport to reach the Union Square Station on the M2 line. From there onwards, take the direct bus to Fujairah.
Getting around: Both cabs and buses are readily available in Fujairah city at affordable fares. Several buses connect the entire city from the Fujairah bus station.

There is also a more convenient option for Indian citizens carrying a visa or permanent resident card from the US, UK or any other country in the European Union. If Indian passport holders have these additional immigration documents, then they are eligible to apply for a 14-day visa on arrival in Fujairah.
To apply for a UAE visa, Indian nationals will need a valid Indian passport and a self-photograph in passport size. Additionally, applicants will need to show proof of accommodation in the UAE, possess confirmed return tickets, and have enough funds to cover the expenses of the trip to Fujairah.
